A regional platform, REJEFAC is a framework that gives young people the opportunity to express themselves and intervene in decision-making on issues relating to forest and environmental management. It is the palpable result of the logical continuation of the advocacy work carried out by AJVC in 1999. It is therefore important, even essential, to encourage the creation of national networks, particularly in the countries concerned.
REJEFAC is a sub-regional network bringing together youth NGOs or those working for youth whose focal points come from the ten countries of the Congo Basin, namely Burundi, Cameroon, Gabon, CAR, CONGO, the DRC, Chad, Rwanda, and Sao Tome and Principe. REJEFAC is attached to COMIFAC via the conference on dense and humid forest ecosystems in Central Africa (CEFDHAC)
